Volunteer Coffee Break

During Volunteer Week, Our Volunteer Coffee Break program allows volunteers to enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea from one of our generous sponsors. It is a great way for the non-profit agencies to provide a tangible "thank you" to their hardworking volunteers; and it is a great way for the local businesses to be involved in the community and show their support. During March 2008, agencies can order coupons for their volunteers by calling 459-6666. Agencies will then be contacted in April when the coupons are ready for pick up!

Join CIVC for lunch to celebrate National Volunteer Week! Enjoy a tasty meal, door prizes, guest speakers and some fun entertainment from Matt Alden and crew.

On Saturday, May 3, 2008, we will be hosting the annual Volunteer Citizen of the Year/Leaders of Tomorrow Awards Ceremony! This year's event is to be held at the St. Albert Alliance Church Hall on Villeneuve Road, and will feature a delicious brunch followed by the awards presentations. Tickets will be available at our offices for only $20 per person!

Print a copy of the 2008 Nomination Form and nominate a deserving volunteer that you know! Deadline for nominations is 4:30 p.m. on March 28, 2008.
