Underwear Affair

Summer Reading Program

A number of volunteers aged 14 years and up who enjoy working with children, love books, and are mature and dependable, are required June 26 to August 20. Shifts are just 3 hours and are flexible to accommodate volunteer's schedule.


Friendly Visitor

Pass out information and visit with patients and their families, mealtime assistance, and lightly assist the nurses in this Edmonton health facility. One year commitment is asked and shifts are very flexible Monday through Friday, morning, afternoon and early evening. Minimum age is 18 and 2 volunteers are needed.


Circulation Department

Student volunteers, aged 14 years and older can volunteer to reshelf paperback books. Position begins June 26 until August 20 and shifts are 2 hours twice a week, weekdays and Saturday.


Board Members

Various roles on the Board for this member run Society that gives a safe place to socialize and rehabilitate for persons with a history of or are currently suffering with mental illness. Board meetings are the 2nd Monday of each month.

Panel Members

This opportunity would be of interest if you have a genuine interest and concern for young people. A local community justice organization is seeking panel members to participate in hearings as well as assist in acting as mentors to young persons while following through on alternative measures agreements. Time commitment is just 2 - 4 hours per month. Police Check and Child Welfare Check are both a requirement of this position.
