You can Volunteer to become a...

What Does It Involve?

Senior Sidekicks Mentor

Provide St. Albert's youth with a positive mentor, role model and friend by spending time with them on a weekly basis in fun, safe and quality activities of mutual interest and attending Sidekicks events together.

Sidekicks Group Mentor

Provide fun, safe and supervised activities for youth to participate in and learn from.

Bingo Team Volunteer

Volunteer to work at a bingo for us. (Check for Bingo Dates when you can help)

Sidekicks Activities Team Member

Provide fun, new and educational activities, events and programs for the youth, volunteers and families in the Sidekicks Program to benefit from; acquire sponsors, funds, promotion and community awareness of the program; recruit new mentors and recognize the existing ones.

Screening of Volunteers

No screening process can guarantee an individual’s performance nor can it predict future decisions an individual may make. Still, all screening components play a valuable role in providing information about the individual, which may be helpful in determining their suitability and readiness to be a Volunteer Sidekick and also the resources, skills and abilities they bring to role.
